If you are on the hunt for weapons in the Iliad (Homer's epic poem of the Trojan War) then you need to research Hephaestos, the divine Blacksmith who lives on Mount Olympus and makes weapons for the mighty Greek warrior, Achilles.
Hephaestus has to make new armour for Achilles since his friend Patroclus went into battle wearing the armour of Achilles (Achilles was in a sulk) and never came back....
I think this is a good website with lots of detail.
Competition entries must be on display by the last Monday of term. Remember they can be factual as well as creative.
