Your brief is to write a film review of 'Love Actually', examining, in some way, this question. You can give it the title of your choice, and write the article for whatever audience you might wish (Broadsheet, Teen magazine, Film magazine, Classics magazine etc). The review need not only tackle the question I have raised but there must be something in it showing an awareness of this issue.
Here is a friendly intro to the 'What is Tragedy' question.
Here is something on Aristotle.
Here is the official website of the film.
Here are some reviews
What you are aiming for is an erudite discussion of what lies beneath a seemingly saccharine piece of movie-making. Even if you don't like the film, you can only conclude that the makers, unwittingly or otherwise, touch on something quite profound about art and the effectiveness of art.
Aim to write around 500 words.
