2.) How does the deer simile (introduced by QUALIS) add to the pathos of the image of Dido? Aim to make at least three points, thinking about the image created, choice of vocabulary and word order.

3.) How does Virgil ensure Aeneas remains blameless in these lines?

4.) Why does Virgil say the opes of Dido are Sidonian (line 75)? (This may require a little independent research.)

P.S.And the mosaic is Romano British and depicts Dido and Aeneas when they finally get it together... so to speak...
